I attended UW-Parkside; worked as a companion for several years for a widow in IL whose mansion was later used in the filming of the movie, "My Best Friend's Wedding" starring Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz; briefly lived and worked in Boston, MA; moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1984 and have worked for the City of Milwaukee since 1985 in various capacities, the last 17 yrs. as Exec. Asst. to the Commissioner of the Dept. of City Development

I was the first President and a founding member of the Ecology Club. The late Chuck Knickrehm (sp?), English teacher, was our club advisor. We were the first to begin a paper recycling program at Bradford, and I'd love to know if/how the program has expanded and if the Club still exists. The Ecology Club was made up of a small, but committed, group of about 10 individuals, who tried to make a difference to get students to change their habits to improve the environment and think outside themselves. This was a challenge back in the 70's! For our class yearbook, one of our club members - Clay Perone - was a good sport and climbed into a garbage can for our group photo.
